 Mia had two kids — Amelia, who was sixteen, and Jack, who was ten. Mia’s husband, Adam, was away most of the time for work, so all the responsibility for the kids fell on her. Mia was a housewife but also did a job, which meant the kids’ studies were getting affected. It was summer vacation, so the kids were at home all the time. When Mia wasn’t home, they would spend the whole day just playing around.

Finally, Mia and Adam decided to hire a tutor for them — someone who could teach and keep an eye on them while they were away. They told their relatives and neighbors to let them know if they found a good teacher.

A few days later, there was a knock at the door. Mia went to open it and found a beautiful woman standing there, around thirty years old.

Hello! My name is Lily. Do you need a tutor for your kids? I’m here for that, she said.

Mia immediately welcomed her in. Who told you we needed a teacher? she asked. Lily avoided the question, I heard it from your neighbors.

They talked for a while. Adam was home that day too, so he met Lily as well. Both of them felt she was a good fit, so they hired her. Her job was to teach the kids and look after them when Mia and Adam weren’t home. The kids liked her too.

The next day, Lily came on time. Mia and Adam left for work, leaving the kids with her.

While teaching, Lily seemed oddly restless. She kept glancing around the house, like she was taking a special interest in everything. Jack noticed her trembling hands but didn’t think much of it. After class, she sent the kids to play in the garden and began quietly looking through every corner of the house.

Then her eyes landed on a photo on Adam’s desk. She picked it up and started murmuring something. Suddenly, her eyes turned pitch-black and her pupils grew larger.

Just then Jack’s voice came from behind, Miss Lily! When Lily looked at Jack with a smirk, his face became like that of a normal human again.

 Yes, Jack, what is it? she said with a smile. Jack asked, What are you doing here? She replied, Nothing, just looking at your house, and walked down with him.

For the next few days, everything seemed fine — but Lily’s mood started shifting. Sometimes she was extremely nice, other times she was strangely angry. Jack told Mia about it, but she brushed it off. Just go to sleep, she said.

One night, Jack couldn’t sleep. He heard whispers somewhere. Quietly, he got out of bed and followed the sound. It was coming from his parents’ room. When he peeked inside, he froze — a woman in a black dress with long hair was standing there. Her hair moved like snakes in the air, and her face was tilted upward as she chanted something.

Suddenly, she looked at Jack. Her face was so horrifying that he couldn’t move. Her black eyes and dark teeth shone as she smiled at him… and Jack fainted.

When he woke up, he was in his bed, burning with fever. Mia was beside him. He told her everything, but she laughed, You have a fever, that’s why you had a bad dream. Then she left for work. Jack told Amelia too, but she didn’t pay much attention.

Jack was still scared, unsure who to ask for help. Just then, Lily came in. Seeing her made him feel a little better. She gave him some medicine and left.

But then she went straight to Adam and Mia’s room. She put something under the bed, locked the door, and was about to leave — when she saw Adam’s photo again. This time, she smiled in a way that made it clear she was no ordinary woman.

The next day, Adam fell sick. He kept vomiting. Mia stayed home from work to take care of him. Soon after, Lily arrived too. She made soup for Adam — but while cooking, she began murmuring again. Jack caught her this time. Lily gave him one angry look, and he quickly walked away.

Adam drank the soup, felt better, and went to sleep. Mia went out with Amelia to buy groceries, leaving Jack, Adam, and Lily at home.

 A terrifying incident happened to Jack

Jack was sitting in his room when suddenly a lizard fell on him. He tried to get it off, but it kept biting him all over. Jack was running around the room in fear when his head hit the wall and he fell down.

Lily just stood there, smiling, as if she had caused it. Lily entered Adam’s room; Adam was sleeping, and she stood at his feet and began reciting something. Her face was now cracked in places, her eyes black, her teeth dark, and her hair moved like snakes. She cut off a few strands of Adam’s hair, then returned to her normal appearance and left the room.

When Jack woke up, there were bite marks all over him. He was crying from the pain. Mia and Amelia had returned home, and Jack ran to show his wounds to his mother and sister. This time, they believed him. Mia ran upstairs, where Adam was shivering badly.

Jack and Amelia searched the house for Lily, but she was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, she appeared right in front of them. Where were you? they asked nervously. Lily replied with a smile, I’m right here with you.

Just then, a scream came from upstairs. They rushed up, and Mia said, Start the car — we have to get Adam to the hospital! Lily said she couldn’t drive. Mia quickly took out the car and drove Adam to the hospital all by herself. Behind them, Lily gave a terrifying smile… and vanished. 

Lily reappeared in a dark, desolate place. The moonlight barely lit the surroundings. A group of women and men in black clothes sat with their heads bowed, chanting. Lily’s true form was terrifying — a pale, torn face, sharp black teeth, and a long tongue.

She was actually a witch, looking for someone born at a specific time and date. Adam was that person. Killing him would give her immense power.

She started chanting, the voices around her grew louder, then she let out a loud scream — and silence fell.

At the hospital, doctors tried to save Adam but couldn’t understand why his condition kept getting worse. After a while, they came out and said, We couldn’t save him. Mia was devastated.

But when she went into his room… his bed was empty. Adam’s body was nowhere to be found, even after searching the whole hospital.

Mia returned home and asked the kids about Lily, but they said she wasn’t there either.

Days later, Mia tried to pull herself together. She asked people about Lily, but everyone said, Lily? We never sent any teacher.

Broken inside, Mia decided to give away Adam’s things. While clearing his room, she moved the bed and found a piece of paper underneath. It had strange writing in another language. She searched it online and found it listed Adam’s name, and the exact date and time of his death — which matched perfectly.

Now Mia understood — Lily had been behind everything.

Somewhere else, Lily was more powerful than ever. The people in black sat around her, chanting. And among them… was Adam. Adam’s face had now turned into a terrifying visage. Adam was no longer Adam — he had become some other creature.

Lily gave one last terrifying scream — and the world around her went silent.
