The Book - Horror Story

The Mysterious Book 

 Sara, who was about 27 years old, lived alone in a big city. She had no family except for her best friend, Anna. This story is about a terrible accident that happened in Sara’s life.

Sara would wake up at 6 am every day, get ready, and prepare to go to her office. She had a dog named Happy. Sara would say goodbye to Happy before leaving the house. Her life was very empty; loneliness was eating her up from the inside, that’s why she kept herself very busy.

Sara was also very pretty—fair complexion, blue eyes, and long black hair. But she had not yet found a life partner with whom she could spend her life. Well, Sara reached the office and got busy with her work.

That day, she got very late while working. She left the office late. When she felt hungry, she saw a mart on the way. She stopped the car and went inside. She was picking her things when suddenly a paper fell under her feet. She picked it up and looked at it, but it was written in an unknown language.

Meanwhile, she found many more such papers. She started picking them up when her eyes fell on a strange boy sitting in a corner. His appearance was dirty, his hair messy. He had an old book in his hand, and he was tearing its pages. The boy got scared when he saw Sara and ran away. He left the book behind.

Sara picked up the book and started looking at it with interest. The book seemed strange but interesting to her. She took it with her and returned home.

As soon as she entered the house, Happy started barking loudly. Sara tried to control him, but he kept staring in the same direction, barking, as if he could see something there—something Sara couldn’t see.

Sara placed the book on the table and went to freshen up.

It was almost 4 am when the sound of Happy’s loud barking woke Sara up. She quickly got up and saw Happy staring at a corner and barking continuously. But no one was there. When Sara looked at that corner, she was shocked—the same book was lying there.

She clearly remembered that she had kept the book on the table… so how did it get there?

Sara picked up the book and brought it to her room. Happy immediately went silent.

When Sara Opened the Mysterious Book

When Sara opened the book, there was a strange language and scary pictures inside. One picture showed a strange creature—two large horns, red glowing eyes, and a black face. She got scared and immediately closed the book and threw it outside into the dustbin.

But when she went back to sleep, she felt a strange uneasiness. She closed her eyes and felt as if her bed was swinging in the air. She opened her eyes in panic and saw that her bed was actually swinging.

Sara screamed.

The bed suddenly began shaking rapidly. The same creature from the book was standing in the room. Sara screamed in fear… and suddenly everything went back to normal.

She ran outside and checked the dustbin—but the book was not there.

When she returned home, the lights started turning on and off by themselves. Happy was barking again as if sensing something. Sara quickly took Happy outside and sat there until morning.

In the morning, she called Anna and told her everything. Anna came immediately. Sara hugged her and started crying. She took her essentials and stayed at Anna’s house.

She stayed there for a few days, but Anna noticed that Sara’s behavior was changing. She became angry at times, sometimes stared at one spot for long, sometimes laughed and sometimes cried.

Anna took her to a psychiatrist. But there, Sara shouted at her:

“I’m not crazy! What I feel is not what you feel!”

Then she whispered in Anna’s ear:

“He is very scary… He lives with me… The shadow of that evil book has fallen on me… Only I can see him…”

Saying this, she left the clinic and went home.

When Sara Caught a Glimpse of the Evil Entity

Sara reached home and started looking for the book, but the book was nowhere. She sat down tired in front of the mirror when suddenly she saw the same evil creature standing behind her.

The creature said:

“Sara… come to me… come with me…”

Sara was terrified.

The next moment, she saw her mother behind her—crying, calling her:

“Sara… come to me… walk with me…”

Sara was about to move forward when Anna entered the room and tried to bring her back to her senses.

Anna tried to explain, but Sara screamed:

“Why don’t you believe me, Anna? That creature wants to take me with him! He will take me… Anna, save me…”

Anna held her tightly and stayed with her that night.

Late at night, Anna woke up to strange sounds. She saw Sara standing in front of the mirror, her hair messy, mumbling in a changing voice.

Then Sara suddenly turned toward Anna.

Sara’s face had turned white, her eyes completely black… as if she wasn’t Sara anymore.

Anna ran out of the room in fear. Sara ran after her like an animal. Anna left the house, got into the car, and drove away quickly.

When Anna looked in the rearview mirror, Sara was standing outside the house… with a devilish smile.

The next morning, Anna returned to Sara’s house. The door was open. Happy was barking loudly when he saw Sara lying on the ground.

Sara’s eyes were black, and her body had turned completely white.

Sara had left this world…

Leaving Anna and Happy forever.

A few days later, Anna still couldn’t forget Sara. It was 3 am. Suddenly, Happy barked outside. Anna looked out the window—Happy was barking at someone.

When Anna looked in that direction…

Her soul trembled.

There, in a terrifying form… stood Sara.

Sara smiled a devilish smile at Anna…

and disappeared.
